Pros and Contras of having an ANTIVIRUS

What are antiviruses and what are those programs making for us?
An antivirus is a program that is made for detecting viruses through scanning and then deletes them.
Let`s go to pros and contras:
PRO:
-It keeps your computer safe from viruses which is really good because many viruses can really damage your computer
-It has firewall(not all of them have firewall) which is protecting your computer from various hackers and virus attacking via internet.
-You can do scans as much as you want and you can scan every file that you want to be scaned. So if you didn`t scaned a folder and you think that only one file from that folder is infected you can check that file by scanning it with your antivirus
-It alerts you if the antivirus is finding any suspicios or infected file/you need to update the antivirus/e.t.c. (these are notifications)
-Some of them can have integrated PC optimization engine which repairs your computer(e.g. It repairs your registry).

CONS:
-A very big problem is that every antivirus is slowing down your computer.
-Those notifications can be annoying sometimes

CONCLUSION:

Having an antivirus is important for your PC, even with these cons.
